With the help of event chairs Gina Betts and Lisa Cooley, Family Gateway netted $600,000 at its annual Gateway To Opportunity Luncheon last month.

The fundraiser, which was held at the Omni Dallas Hotel, featured a talk by basketball icon and philanthropist Earvin “Magic” Johnson.

MetroPCS presented the benefit for the homeless services agency with a $50,000 gift.

Underwriters included:
