After finger crossing, hollering and smiling about their Justify’s joining the Triple Crown corral, Lisa and Kenny Troutt have been celebrating big time. Kenny even fessed up that “I’m worn out!”
But after making their victory lap, they’ve just accepted Gateway to Opportunity Luncheon Co-Chairs Gina Betts’ and Lisa Cooley’s ask to be the luncheon’s honorary co-chairs for the Family Gateway fundraiser that will feature Earvin “Magic” Johnson at the Omni Dallas on Friday, October 19.
Makes perfect sense. After all besides his ownership of WinStar Farm, he’s also a lover of the hoops. So much so that the Troutt estate has an indoor regulation basketball court.
As for Earvin (he prefers to be called Earvin), TMZ’s Harvey Levin recently interviewed him about how despite growing up with minimal education and business experience, he invested in the inner city and became a business titan.
