Family Gateway will launch a kid-oriented fundraiser on April 7 to support its efforts to aid families affected by homelessness.

Day to Play will present games, music, performances, art projects and other activities at Annette Strauss Artist Square.

Participating organizations include Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Zoo, DART, Hanuman Homies, Hearts of Maya, KidKraft, Kids Helping Kids, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, TalkSTEMand Promise of Peace Garden.

Co-chairs Lara Wilhelm-Harrison and Steve Harrison and Eddie Maestri and Adam Moore are leading the event with honorary chairs Marlene and John Sughrue.

$30,000: Bank of America.

$10,000: Marilee and Charlie O’Connell and Marlene and John Sughrue.

$5,000: Janese and Rick Deitch and Emily and Toby Thomas.

$5,000: Neiman Marcus.

$2,500: Hall Group, Lara Wilhelm-Harrison and Steve Harrison, Taylor and Munear Ashton Kouzbari, Maestri Studio, Ellen and Rick Magnis, Paula and Bay Miltenberger, and Gowri and Alex Sharma.

A pass for four people ages 3 and up costs $50. Additional guests are $5 each, and children 2 and younger are admitted free. Supporters can also buy family passes for homeless families.
