We value our partner agencies who provide in-kind services and support to children experiencing homelessness and their families. These partnerships help us ensure the best care is provided to our children and families.
Anthem Strong Families provides group counseling program, Tyro, to men onsite. “The program restores lives, reconnects fathers with their children and empowers fathers to be their absolute BEST for their children and families.”
All Neighbors Coalition, of which Family Gateway is an active member, is a collective of over 140 organizations working in collaboration to solve homelessness by providing resources and support to individuals experiencing homelessness in Dallas and Collin Counties.
Attitudes and Attire provides training, counseling and resources, including dress attire, for the women of Family Gateway.
The Birthday Party Project throws monthly birthday parties for the children at Family Gateway North.
Back on My Feet works with adults who currently reside at Family Gateway North. The program will run/ walk 2-3 times a week to build a sense of community and responsibility. With the support of workforce development, participants work toward sustainable employment and self-sufficiency.
Catholic Charities of Dallas Hunger Services Program-provides food boxes for our families who do not have SNAP benefits.
Chi Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – . The Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Pack (CHIPP™) program provides weekend and holiday meals for children in grades K – 5 including siblings within their families.
Dallas Independent School District – Homeless Education Program enables our families to have access to resources such as school supplies, uniforms, a lunch program, and transportation.
Dress for Success provides training, resources and dress attire for women.
Family Compass offers in-home parenting education to parents with children ages 0-3 years.
Hope Supply Co. provides infant care supplies, clothing, toys, school uniforms, and a variety of other items.
Housing Forward supports the All Neighbors Coalition as the lead agency working to coordinate efforts to end homelessness in our community.
Irving ISD Project PASS enables our families to have access to resources such as school supplies, uniforms, a lunch program, and transportation.
MetroCare provides counseling and treatment by psychiatrists, specializing in persistent mental illness.
North Dallas Bank and Trust provides financial literacy coaching for our parents.
North Texas Food Bank provides food for our kitchen staff to prepare for our children and families.
Parkland HOMES Program offers mobile medical services for well-baby care, emergency services, immunizations, and prenatal referrals, as well as play therapy and adult counseling on children’s issues and assessment and referrals for additional counseling services.
Plano ISD provides onsite tutoring. Homeless Education Program enables our families to have access to resources such as school supplies, uniforms, a lunch program, and transportation.
Portfolio Residential Services provides afterschool programming to children in the Permanent Supportive Housing program.
Rainbow Days, Inc. provides the Kid Connection, as well as summer camps, Kids’ University, Camp Bravo, Outdoor Adventure Camp, special events and holiday activities.
Texas Workforce Commission provides supportive assistance with employment training and transportation vouchers.
UT Southwestern provides on site HIV testing, education and awareness to our Permanent Supportive Housing clients.
The Stewpot provides assistance with attaining vital documents.
Vogel Alcove Childcare Center for the Homeless provides outstanding early childhood education programs for preschool-aged children in our care.
Youth180 provides prevention programs and trauma-responsive clinical services to youth and their families. Their prevention program educates youth and parents on coping, decision-making, problem-solving skills and the risks associated with substance use. Their clinical services provide mental health counseling to youth and families as well outpatient substance use treatment to adolescents.
